Club Field Trips - 2020

Monthly field trips occur on the first Friday of the month and Sunday field trips occur every other month, times as indicated. All participants are asked to sign the attendance book. Field trips will proceed irrespective of the weather. Leaders will always turn up except for venues at risk during high fire danger warnings. Wear sturdy shoes and bring along the following - Binoculars, Hat, Sunscreen, Insect repellent, Water, Morning tea and lunch plus a chair. A field guide is optional.

    The AGM has been deferred until 4th September

  • August

    Fri 7th: Kattang Nature Reserve. Meet 8:30am at the reserve carpark, Bergalia Cres, Camden Head.(Map Link) Woodland and Seabirds. Gradient: Relatively easy with some gradients. Leaders: Sue Proust and Peter West.

    Sun 16th: Yippin Creek and Wauchope. Meet 8:30am Yippin Creek Reserve, Cnr Yippin Creek Rd & Beechwood Rd, Wauchope.(Map Link) Woodland birds. Gradient: Easy. Leader: Beth Gabriel.

  • September

    Fri 4th: Sancrox and Rawdo Island plus AGM. Meet 8:00am at Sancrox Reserve, Colvin St, Sancrox. (Map Link) Woodland and Riverine birds. Gradient: Easy. Leader: Jenny Lester

    AGM: Meeting is 1:00pm at the shelter shed on Sancrox Reserve.

  • October

    Fri 2nd: Wingham Brush and Brimbin. Meet 8:00am at Wingham Brush carpark, Farquhar St, Wingham.(Map Link) Rainforest and woodland birds. Gradient: Relatively easy with some inclines. Leaders: Julia and Peter Hudd.

    Sun 11th: Johns River - Private Properties. Meet 8:00am at Johns River Rest Area, Johns River.(Map Link)Woodland and riverine birds. Gradient: Relatively easy. Leader: Ted Giblin

    Mon 19th - Fri 23rd: Spring Campout - Bingara. Details TBA.

    Fri 6th: Old Bar/Saltwater. Meet 8:00am at Old Bar SLSC car park. (Map Link)Seabirds and Waders. Gradient: Easy. Leader: TBA
