Club Field Trips - 2021

Monthly field trips occur on the first Friday of the month and Sunday field trips occur every other month, times as indicated. All participants are asked to sign the attendance book. Field trips will proceed irrespective of the weather. Leaders will always turn up except for venues at risk during high fire danger warnings. Wear sturdy shoes and bring along the following - Binoculars, Hat, Sunscreen, Insect repellent, Water, Morning tea and lunch plus a chair. A field guide is optional.

  • January

    Fri 01st: Partridge Creek, Mundys and Bassetts Farms. Meet 08:00 at the corner of Fernbank Creek Rd and the southern side of Hastings River Drive. (Map Link) Woodland and Waterbirds. Gradient: Easy. Leader: Clive Meadows.

  • February

    Fri 5th: Boorganna NR. Meet 08:00am at Pioneer Park, Hill St, Comboyne (1st street on right into Comboyne).(Map Link). Leader: Ted Giblin. Habitat: Rainforest and Woodland. Gradient Inclines with some steep parts.

  • Sun 21st: Harrington. Meet 08:00 at the Harrington breakwall car park. (Map Link). Leaders: Peter West & Sue Proust. Habitat: Seashore, woodland and rainforest. Gradient - Easy.

  • March

    Fri 5th: Kempsey Railway Bridge & Swamps. Meet 08:00am at Kempsey Museum/Info Centre carpark (Opposite Crescent Head Rd turnoff) (Map Link). Leaders: Peter & Julia Hudd. Habitat: Woodland and wetland. Gradient: Easy.

  • Mon 15th - Fri 19th: Autumn campout - Mudgee. Staying at Mudgee Riverside Caravan and Tourist Park - (02) 6372 2531
