Club Field Trips - 2022

Monthly field trips occur on the first Friday of the month and Sunday field trips occur every other month, times as indicated. All participants are asked to sign the attendance book. Field trips will proceed irrespective of the weather. Leaders will always turn up except for venues at risk during high fire danger warnings. Wear sturdy shoes and bring along the following - Binoculars, Hat, Sunscreen, Insect repellent, Water, Morning tea and lunch plus a chair. A field guide is optional.Please note the club is unable to accept those under 18 years of age at field trips unless accompanied by an adult.

  • February

    Fri 4th: Harrington Breakwall and Rainforest. Meet 08.00am in the Harrington Breakwall carpark. Waders and Rainforest birds. Leader: Sue Proust

    Sun 20th: Boorganna NR. Meet 08:00am at the Hill St car park, Comboyne (1st Street on your right coming into Comboyne). Woodland and Rainforest birds. Gradient: Inclines, some steep. Leader: Ted Giblin.

  • March

    Fri 4th: Kempsey Railway Bridge & Swamps. Meet 08:00am Kempsey Info carpark opposite Crescent Head turnoff. Wetland and Woodland birds. Gradient: Easy. Leaders: Peter & Julia Hudd.
