Club Field Trips - 2021

Monthly field trips occur on the first Friday of the month and Sunday field trips occur every other month, times as indicated. All participants are asked to sign the attendance book. Field trips will proceed irrespective of the weather. Leaders will always turn up except for venues at risk during high fire danger warnings. Wear sturdy shoes and bring along the following - Binoculars, Hat, Sunscreen, Insect repellent, Water, Morning tea and lunch plus a chair. A field guide is optional.Please note the club is unable to accept those under 18 years of age at field trips unless accompanied by an adult.

  Fri 5th: Farquhar Inlet/Mud Bishop. Meet 08:00am in the Old Bar Surf Life Saving Club carpark.(Map Link) Woodland & Shorebirds. Gradient: Fairly easy but with some sand walking. Leaders: Sue Proust & Peter West.

  Sun 21st: Pelican Point, Nth Shore. Meet 08:00 in Dolphin Ct. Left of Settlement Point ferry and first on the right.(Map Link)Woodland and Seabirds. Gradient:- Easy. Leader: Fran Smith

  Fri 3rd: Leonie & Steve Gale's property, Pembrooke. Meet 08:00am opposite Pembrooke tennis courts, Pembrooke Rd.(Map Link) Woodland birds. Gradient: Fairly easy and with some slight gradients. Leader: Jenny Lester & Les Mitchell.

  Bring your double vaccination certificate with you for the field trip and for lunch.

  Fri 3rd: Christmas Lunch : Beechwood Hotel, Beechwood from 12:00pm. (Map Link)

Sun 19th: Boyters Lane and Belmore Swamp. Meet 08:00am at Rotary Park, Plummers Lane, western end of the Macleay bridge Jerseyville. (Map Link). Water and Woodland birds. Gradient: Easy. Leader: Louise Earnshaw.

  Fri 7th: Partridge Creek/Munday's Farm/Bassett's Farm. Meet 08:00 at the corner, southern side of Hastings River Drive and Fernbank Creek Rd. (Map Link) Woodland and Waterbirds. Leader: Clive Meadows.

  Sun 16th: Werrikimbe NP (To be confirmed). Meet 08:00am Bellangry Rd, Beechwood, opposite Beechwood Cafe. Woodland birds. Gradient: Variable. Leader: Sue Proust.
